Go Kart Torque Converter Driving Wheels in Idle
Переглядів 4,1 тис.2 роки тому
I can’t seem to get this torque converter to allow the wheels to spin freely while in idle. I have dialed the idle speed down all the way, but it seems like the clutch is engaged with the belt too tight. This is my second torque converter and this is one from gopowersports.
Torque Converter Engaging when in Idle Issue
Переглядів 2 тис.2 роки тому
Playing around with a yard kart and installed a new Torque converter, but it won’t let the wheels spin freely when in idle. Seems to want to engage even at low RPMs. I’ve already lowered the idle way down. Any ideas on what could be wrong or is this just a bad torque converter?

wonder if this is the same as a 70hp 2000?
How would eliminate the vapor separator on a 96 model
If you have two carburetors this pump only has one outlet. Will it work for two
I wanna know how a video showing fuel dripping from a carb gets 19k views! 🤣
Hard with the bottom alternator bolts no room to bang it on
Will this pump be good for A 1984 235hp v6? To lean ?? Ty
Nope, I don’t believe this pump replacement pushes enough fuel for motors in that high of an HP range. There are some after market pumps you can Google for that range I believe.
Ther is a an area with 2 holes and a bolt on the middle that's the vacuum hole remove that bolt and the pump will fit right on it
Thank you
So I have an urgent question These pumps come with a gasket And there's a small peep hole down the center Am I supposed to block that off? Because it seems like the pulse line can blow right thru it Which wouldnt make sense
There are two versions of this pump. One with a separate pulse line and one that attaches directly to the motor which feeds the pulse through a hole in the back of the pump.
@@JasonLefevers I bought one with three lines but it still has a hole down the back il prob justJB weld it
Is the 140 hp fuel pump a different part number? Just bought a 1986 ragin cajun with a johnson 140 but the fuel pump is leaking and the oil pump isnt working and is even wiring up im guessing original owner did it like that i just want the battery bay to be clean so im taking the oil tank completely out
I now want to buy these from Amazon. After surfing a few times with them, what is your opinion of them?
I liked them and would recommend them to anyone who doesn’t go snowboarding many times during season. If you snowboard often than I would invest in a set that will hold up to that type of abuse. But these are great for the snowboarder that goes a few times a year.
Nicely done
My predator 212 is doing that but it’s a single wheel drive how to I fix it
Same gang 😂😂 just started today
@@edreanna52you figure out whats wrong ? Just installed mine and doing what this guys doing
@@edreanna52bruh who gonna figure it out 😂
@@bryanmiller5007bruh who gonna figure it out 😂
Can you just bypass it completely? Mine is leaking fuel pretty bad
I'm sure you could, but then would make it difficult to start on some days when it's cold or sat for a while when you need that burst of fuel directly into the motor.
Got these because they were cheap 4 years ago. They take a beating. I've had some pretty bad spills and they are still solid. I've since moved on to better boards but still use these bindings because they are awesome and I have no reason to switch to something different.
I know this is an old video but it helped me out A LOT today!
Are these stiff or soft bindings?
To me, they are more stiff than soft. When compared to all of the other bindings I've used.
Have these and I snowboard a ton and I’m alright. I clip in a different way but they hold very well and they never hold me back. Sent it off some big jumps and drops and nothing has happened. Recommend.
How many days of riding have you used them so far? Thx
What do you mean that you clip in a different way?
Will this work also on a Johnson gt 200 also?
thank you for making this video, hard to find any like it
Very awesome and informative video man
Umm.. Ummm. Ummmm… Jesus you don’t even know how they work. Shut up
I was ready to delete my VRO and go with premix. If you delete/disable the VRO do you need to add a fuel pump? All other videos just disable the VRO and leave it in in its place. They just disconnect two sets of wires (the one you showed plus some others and cut off the 2-stroke oil supply by placing a bolt in the line (you also have this). But no other video speaks about adding a fuel pump. Am I missing something? Thanks
Thank you sir these series of videos helped a great bunch thank you sir
Do you still have to have that wiring harness you unplugged actually plugged in when still running the VRO but with a plugged oil feed line and premixing the tank?
I'm having this problem as well 😭 what did you do to get it right
Why wouldn't you explain what fucking hoses goes where
Where is blud going
Bro when did earth go back to chapter 1 season 4
Well he’s definitely not a Gryffindor that’s for sure
Where was this at?
This is in Universal Studios Orlando
He did the right thing. Give your life a fighting chance kiddo Run!
Wish you would have shown what lines went where.
Great video, I have my pump and as soon as I pull my 90 horse Johnson out for the season , I’m converting! Thanks
I have a non electric manual hydraulic lift/lower. It will not raise or lower. Any help would be appreciated.
It appears thT some fuel pumps have a third hole on the back that mounts to the block. I'm wondering why your fuel pump only has 2 holes. Do you have an explanation as to why yours didn't mount to your engine block? Also, what yr is your engine?
I wish u would showed we're fuel lines went too
Blah blah blah
You didnt show where the hoses connects to the ports!
Nice video!!
Thank you so much! This video saved us!
Did you use the gasket that comes with the fuel pump
Excellent.
Great video, thank you!
To anyone that’s interested this problem is caused by a float being wrongly adjusted or a bad needle and seat. Take your carburetor apart. Make sure nothing is stuck in the jet. Make sure your needle is good. Normally a carb rebuild Kit is only 35 bucks pretty easy to replace. If your carburetor is leaking from the back in between the plastic and the metal that could be because it’s warped
I am struggling to get the pins out of the plug in the engine area. I have been trying to get it to budge but I can't seem to get it. Any tips?
Great Video Bro! I would add something that will reduce the frustration of re-routing the wires. All you have do is leave the original receiving pin and wires in place. Snip the wires at the bottom near the new motor, then snip the new wires to length and fuse the old and new wires together (i.e., Blue & Green wires) with leak proof heat sink connectors. Slide the sheathing back over and you are done! Takes about 10 minutes if you have the connectors, which every boat DIYers do!
Do you have a link for that exact part?
For anyone looking for the answer, the carb bowl screws were over-torqued and it bent the plastic. Either get glass (or mdf) and sandpaper. Run the mating surface of the carb bowl on the flat sandpaper. Check the gaps with a feeler gauge and a straight edge ruler. If it is really bad I have used epoxy to build up the gaps and then sanded.
Thanks, I used a syringe with no needle, easy as, the bugger took 120ml of fluid. The I raised it up and down a few time and topped it up.
